Verification Policy

The Verified Artist badge signals that an account is an authentic artist on PesaBass. A free badge may be granted to approved artists at PesaBass' discretion. Paid verification tiers (Verified, Verified Pro, Verified Elite) add creator perks as described on the Get Verified page. Perks that affect money — such as a reduced platform fee at withdrawal — apply prospectively while the tier is active, at the discount shown on the Get Verified page at the time, and are discretionary benefits that may be varied prospectively as described in the Royalty Agreement.

The badge is a licence to display the mark while active and in good standing. It confers no ownership and may be changed or withdrawn under this policy.

To qualify, an account must: be a genuine artist or rights-holder; have a complete profile; comply with the Artist Agreement and Community Guidelines; and not be suspended or under active enforcement.

Paid applications are reviewed by PesaBass before activation. We may request additional identity or rights information. Review timelines vary; payment does not guarantee approval.

Paid tiers are billed monthly in Kenyan Shillings via Paystack. Prices are shown on the Get Verified page and may change with notice. By subscribing you authorise recurring monthly charges until you cancel.

If an application is reviewed and rejected, contact support@pesabass.music with your payment reference: the amount charged for the rejected application is credited back to your PesaBass wallet (spendable on the platform), processed by our support team. Refunds to the original payment method are made only where the law requires.

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. You can cancel anytime; the badge and perks remain until the end of the current paid period, after which the status expires and the badge is removed.

If a renewal payment fails and is not resolved, the badge expires automatically.

PesaBass may suspend or revoke the badge — with or without refund depending on circumstances — for impersonation, fraud, chargeback abuse, repeated policy or copyright violations, or account suspension. Revocation does not waive outstanding fees.
